Tara's Take on Lit Pub

Coming into Literary Publications, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had produced a literary journal in high school, but had only done it my senior year. I was the copy editor and had a large workload to be completed in a short amount of time, and I had to complete this by myself with little guidance. However, in this course, I found that it was much more of a collaborative process than my past experiences. Each member of our team took a piece of the workload to make it easier and faster, which I really appreciated about this class.

Everything felt a lot more organized when it came to the actual production of the journal as part of the editing team, and I enjoyed seeing our journal unveiled at the launch party. It truly was a moment of pride for all the hard work that everyone put into making it, and I’m excited to see the future of Northern Eclecta.
